“ApoCalypso” è un viaggio visuale attraverso le varie forme e sembianze che la Natura ci propone: regni vegetali e animali assai diversi tra loro, ma accomunati dalla continua ricerca del loro “posto nel mondo”. In un contesto sempre più artificioso, dove l’ecosistema è minacciato e danneggiato dalla prevaricazione umana, la Natura non è soltanto un oggetto di dibattito ideologico o un patrimonio da salvaguardare, ma è allo stesso tempo il quesito e, soprattutto, “La Risposta”.
Perché, alla fine, tutto è Natura. E alla fine, la Natura vince sempre.
Mattia Urlotti – Classe 1982, è un artista multidisciplinare che si divide tra fotografia, pittura e scrittura.
Pratica la fotografia da oltre 15 anni e le sue opere sono state esposte presso rassegne nazionali e internazionali. Per il suo stile concettuale e intimista è stato definito “il fotografo del silenzio”.
È il fondatore del progetto “Poegrafia”, la crasi artistica di poesia e fotografia: un nuovo linguaggio comunicativo, stilistico ed emozionale, che nel tempo si è evoluto in una community di appassionati e cultori dell’avanguardia poegrafica. Collabora inoltre con blog letterari e fotografici.
All’interno della sede d’esposizione, presso la libreria Mondadori, è possibile acquistare il libro di fotografia e poesia “Ti scatto una parola” (ed. Albatros): un percorso di ricerca artistica e interiore che fonde poesia e fotografia, che contiene – tra le altre – alcune delle immagini presenti nella mostra.

“ApoCalypso” is a visual journey through the various forms and appearances that Nature offers us: plant and animal kingdoms very different from each other, but united by a continuous search for their “place in the world”. In an increasingly artificial context, where the ecosystem is threatened and damaged by human abuse, Nature is not only an object of ideological debate or a heritage to be safeguarded: it is, at the same time, the question and – above all – “The Answer”.
Because, in the end, everything is Nature. At the end, Nature always wins.
Mattia Urlotti – Born in 1982, is a multifaceted artist branching between photography, painting and writing.
He has been practicing photography for more than 15 years, and his works have been shown not just in Italy but also internationally. For his conceptual and intimate style, he has been defined as “il fotografo del silenzio” – the photographer of silence.
He is also the founder of a project called “Poegrafia“, the artistic crasis of poetry and photography: a new form of stylistic and emotional communicative language, which in time evolved into a community of enthusiasts of the poegraphic avant-garde. He also collaborates with literary and photography blogs.
